2019 Wage Gap

According to CNBC, Latinos make up for 18.1% of the overall US population, yet we are the third fastest growing economies and if US Latino GDP were a country we would rank 8th.  We are impacting the US economy tremendously - and still Latinas are paid $.54 cents to every $1 a white man makes. These practices by employers and corporations are totally unacceptable, unjust, and unjustifiable. More light needs to be shone on the guilty parties, and pressure must be put to bear on them to change, if not because of their consciousness, then due to legislation or actual loss of income as a result of boycotting of their products or services.
Maybe even better, those corporations and employers that DO equalize pay should get greater attention so their efforts and their products rise to the top in popularity and return income.
