In a panel discussion featuring influential Latina businesswomen, we'll cover how to build a strong network to support one's business goals and foster the next generation of Latinx creators, founders & business professionals. Following the conversation, will be a networking cocktail hour.

Malena Higuera, General Manager, Dermablend/L’Oréal

Malena Higuera is the General Manager at Dermablend Professional Global & U.S. and previous Senior Vice President of L’Oréal Paris USA. As Dermablend’s General Manager across Global and U.S., she is humbled by the ability to create products that make a powerful difference.  Taking inspiration by those that will inspire the future, she is also a proud Adjunct Professor at the S.I. Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University teaching Fashion & Beauty Advertising to undergraduate and graduate students. 

 

Noëlle Santos, Owner, The Lit Bar

Noëlle Santos is the proprietress of The Lit. Bar, the only general interest bookstore in the Bronx. The Lit. Bar hosts a variety of literary events and family programming—while its featured wine bar connects the great pastimes of social drinking and introverted reading.  Noëlle leverages her platforms on the American Booksellers Association’s Advisory Council, blog and social media to promote book culture in inner cities, diversity in the book industry, and entrepreneurship as a form of activism. 

 

Andrea Gompf, Editor-in-Chief, Remezcla

Andrea Gompf is a Peruvian-American writer and editor.  She is the editor-in-chief of Remezcla, a leading digital lifestyle and entertainment media company for young Latinxs. Under her editorial leadership, Remezcla has expanded from a local events blog to a full-fledged digital media brand that reaches 50M people per month through original, thought-provoking music, film, lifestyle & entertainment content. Prior to joining Remezcla, Andrea worked at one of the nation’s top immigration law firms. She has a B.A. in Literary Arts from Brown University.
