Strong Hold Gel

Ok, I'm on day 5 of not washing my hair, and the curls are going strong. I'm a restless sleeper, tossing and turning all night, and normally with other gel's I'll get 2-3 days max out of a wash. This one I'm thinking I'll get 7 days! Last night, I just got my hands a little wet and touched up the roots a bit before I parted it in a different spot. Oh - and normally with other products if I went this long w/o washing my hair my scalp would HURT - I have zero discomfort with this product. I will definitely purchase again!

While I've had better strong hold gels, this one is still pretty good. It gave me pretty good hold for up to 3 days (which is fine for me, because I like to shower every 2-3 days), while also not being as texturizing as some other strong hold gels. If you're someone who needs a strong hold gel but you hate that tacky feeling they sometimes leave in your hair, I would recommend this one.

It does make my hair feel dry sometimes, so I would recommend putting a curl cream or leave-in conditioner to balance it out.

The only think I really don't like about this produce is its scent. I don't know what sort of fragrance they were going for, but I personally think it smells awful. Here's hoping they'll release a fragrance-free version in the near future.
