Coily hair, although typically abundant in stands, can be very fragile. Que the TLC. Tiny coils and strands can be naturally porous or have high porosity, allowing moisture to move freely in and out making keeping coils moisturized a challenge. In order to get the defintion and frizz control you desire, adequate moisture is the key! 

Moisture, moisture, moisture! Delicate coils just can't get enough, but how do we achieve this? Because adding moisture is so important for this curl type, by the time wash day rolls around, we are in desperate need of a deep clean. Adding creams, leave ins, oils for multiple days to extend those luscious coils will require us to take a few extra measures to start back at square!

You can usually tell when your curls are screaming for a Rizos Reset. Your scalp may start to itch or flakes begin to appear. *Rizos Tip: If moisture is easy come, easy go for your high porosity hair use heat as a tool to capture and trap the moisture in. Steam, heat caps, shower caps to trap body heat will allow the conditioning ingredients to deeply infiltrate. Finish with a cool rinse to close the hair cuticle and lock in moisture.

For a boost of hydration, apply Rizos Curls Curl Defining Mousse  by raking root to tip to let the deeply hydrating Coconut Water and mineral-rich Cactus Flower (The same hydration that keeps cactus plump & juicy even in the dry desert!) permeate hair and get that definition and shine on deck.
